A toque is essential, but it flattens your hairstyle and rubs your lengths. Combined with dry air, winter leaves hair dull and full of static.
1. A nourishing mask every week
Leave a rich mask on lengths and ends for 10 minutes once a week.
2. Never go out with wet hair
In extreme cold, the water inside the hair fibre can weaken it. Always dry your hair before going out.
3. Line your toque with satin
A satin or silk lining reduces friction, frizz and static.
- 4. Lower your blow-dryer temperature
- 5. Trim your ends every 8 to 10 weeks
- 6. Get a deep treatment at the salon at the start of winter
